Cookie Policy

1. What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files that websites store on your device (computer, smartphone, tablet) while you browse. They are used to ensure websites function correctly, improve the user experience, and remember user preferences.

In addition to traditional cookies, this site also uses browser local storage technologies, specifically localStorage and sessionStorage. These technologies work similarly to cookies, allowing the site to store data locally on the user’s device, but they differ in duration and transmission method: localStorage data persists until manually cleared, while sessionStorage data is deleted when the browser tab is closed. Unlike cookies, this data is not automatically transmitted to the server with each request.

In this document, the term “cookie” is used broadly to include all these local storage technologies, unless otherwise specified.

3. Legal Basis

Technical/essential cookies: pursuant to art. 122 of the Italian Privacy Code (Legislative Decree 196/2003) and the Guidelines of the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante Privacy) on cookies and other tracking tools dated June 10, 2021, essential technical cookies do not require prior consent from the user, as they are strictly necessary for the provision of the requested service.

Functional cookies: are processed on the basis of the legitimate interest of the Data Controller pursuant to art. 6(1)(f) of the GDPR (EU Regulation 2016/679). These cookies are necessary to ensure an optimal user experience (saving language preferences, theme, agent creation progress) and do not involve any processing of personal data for profiling purposes.

No profiling, analytics, or advertising cookies are used by ReachLoop. We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any other tracking tools for marketing or advertising purposes.

4. Third-Party Cookies

ReachLoop uses third-party services exclusively for technical purposes. None of these services install profiling, tracking, or marketing cookies.

  • Clerk— Used exclusively for authentication and user session management. Cookies set by Clerk are strictly technical and are not used for tracking or profiling purposes.
  • Convex— Used as a real-time backend database. Connection tokens serve solely to maintain the database connection and are not used for tracking purposes.

We do not use advertising, analytics, or marketing cookies of any kind. Specifically, the following are not present: Google Analytics, Google Ads, Facebook Pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag, tracking pixels, or any other advertising profiling tools.

5. Managing Cookies

You can manage your cookie preferences directly from your browser. Here are instructions for the most common browsers:

  • Chrome:Settings → Privacy and Security → Cookies and other site data
  • Firefox:Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
  • Safari:Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data
  • Edge:Settings → Cookies and site permissions

Important note: disabling essential cookies (particularly Clerk cookies) may prevent the authentication service from functioning correctly and make it impossible to access the platform.

How to clear localStorage data:you can clear data stored in localStorage using your browser’s developer tools. Open the developer tools (typically by pressing F12), navigate to the Application tab (or Storage), select Local Storage, and delete the desired entries.

6. Cookie Duration

The cookies and technologies used by ReachLoop have the following durations:

  • Session cookies: are automatically deleted when the browser is closed.
  • Persistent cookies: remain on the device until expiration (maximum 1 year) or until manually deleted by the user.
  • localStorage: data remains stored until manually cleared by the user or until the application removes it automatically (for example, agent-draft is cleared upon completion of agent creation).

7. Updates

This Cookie Policy may be updated periodically to reflect changes to the cookies used or regulatory requirements. The date of the last update is shown at the top of the page. We encourage you to review this page regularly to stay informed about how we use cookies.
